Returning Class Line Up

We enjoy our work and strive to make certain our customers are happy with our products and especially our service. There is no better feeling than walking into a warm and welcoming store and being surrounded by decadent fibers and a fun atmosphere!

Registration!
You can sign up either on-line or stop by our store at 4420 Tennyson Street, Denver. Pre-payment is required to secure your place. If you choose to register on-line, we will call you and arrange payment over the phone, or you can stop by the store and we can process your registration and pre-payment in person. We offer a 10% discount on materials purchased for your class, unless otherwise noted in class description.

Cancellation
We respectfully request 48 hours notice of cancellation for all classes. For those who cancel more than 48 hours before class, we will issue store credit less a $5 processing fee. No refunds or credits can be given for cancellations less than 48 hours before class or for no-shows. Of course, if we must cancel a class for any reason and cannot reschedule with you, we will issue a full refund.

Cheryl Oberle Classes & Workshops

EZ Classic Baby Surprise with Cheryl Oberle
CAS Mysterious and fascinating to knit, this beautifully fitting baby jacket has been at the top of knitters' lists since 1968. One-piece garter-stitch construction using EPS (Elizabeth's Percentage System).
6-8 pm. Tuesdays, $60 + materials.

Lace Sampler Workshop with Cheryl Oberle
CAS You must bring the needles and other small tools (list will be provided when you sign up.) Basic skills are required, but knitters of all levels are welcome.
Saturday 10 am to 4:30 pm, with 1/2 hour for lunch. $70 + materials.

Before there were pattern books, lace stitches were recorded in beautifully knit samplers that were passed from knitter to knitter. Spend a day learning to knit lace and begin your own heirloom sampler. You may choose to sample several patterns or to concentrate on advancing your skills and understanding of lace knitting.

Thrummed Mittens
Nov 6th & 13th
These mittens are lined with fleece for extraordinary warmth. Using exotic fibres such as kid mohair, angora/wool mix, alpaca/silk, etc. results in a luxuriously soft mitten that you won't want to take your hands out of. Yummy!

Larger Than Life Bag
CAS , Learn to crochet this fun bag with a new twist on granny squares. We'll even tweak the bag further to make it more personalized. Mary Kay has a name for that:
Sagacity [suh-'gas'-i-tee] - nounacuteness of mental discernment and soundness of judgment. Since the course will be as much about trusting your inner wisdom and preferences as it is about the pattern, she thought it was fitting. You’ll finish this class by lining it with your fabric. We’ll even provide the help & sewing machines!

Felted Bag
CAS Design your own bag, and learn how to felt it! This is a fun & fantastic class to take with POSH's felting maven, Meg. Basic knitting skills required.

Cables Untangled
Coming Again Soon! Decipher the mystery of the cable, and make a pair of fabulous fingerless gloves. You will learn different techniques & cables.

Socks! Magic Loop
March 8th & 16th Learn to make toe up or top down socks using the magic loop method. You get to pick your pattern, and also learn how to measure your foot and calculate your your own sock pattern. Beginning knitting skills required.

Finishing School
Coming Soon! Hate to finish all those projects? Come and learn many finishing techniques to make your garments look sharp! You will cover seaming: mattress stitch, crochet, and back stitch.
Bands: picking up stitches and buttonholes. Sleeves: sewing. Blocking: sweaters and lace.

Endpaper Mitts
CAS, Make a pair of identical, reversible mitts. These are an excellent first project for a novice color work knitter - they're small, snappy and simple! The pattern is easy to memorize and predict (and they're worked in the round, so you'll learn to read your knitting), and they'll teach you some shaping basics. It’s a fun project to learn some new techniques. Basic knitting skills required.
